Lamborghini Countach and Ferrari Testarossa were icons and dream supercars for many boys. Dreams of one guy were not just to have one but also modify it in accordance to his vision. The Japanese Ryoji Yamazaki Art & Tech in cooperation with Art & Tech created Sogna in 1991. The car was shown on Geneva Auto Show in 1991 as an improved Countach. However with all respect to Mr Ryoji Yamazaki and his project the car didn’t go into production since was not accepted by customers. Maybe the price was too high – $1.6 million ???
As it comes to its performance it kept powertrain from Countach developing 448-horsepower from 5.2-liter V12 and promising maximal speed of 186mph.
If anyone is interested the Lamborghini Sogna can be bought for 2.38 MIO Euro.
