Renault will try to reborn the Alpine brand by launching mid-engined sportscar which is “high-performance, elegant, lightweight car dedicated to driving pleasure in its very purest form.” Rumours say the car weigh not much than 1,100 kilograms what can give a hint about possible performance.
The heart of car should be 1.6-liter gasoline engine taken from Clio RS however tuned to 1.8-liter to receive 250 bhp in standard version. The top model should be able to produce around 300 horsepower what should enable the car to accelerate to 100km/h from 0 in less than 4,5 seconds.
As it comes to interior it is about to be driver-focused with minimum of buttons and knobs to keep the driver focused on road. Of course it will be finished up in leather, aluminium or carbon fiber materials and equipped in bucket seats to keep the car as sporty as possible.
